Joining the local chapter of NSSLHA at CSULA

For only $5 per quarter or $20 for the academic year (including Summer Quarter), you can enjoy these great benefits:

  • Meet other students in your same field ~ members come from many different backgrounds with a variety of work experience within the field. This is a great opportunity to get to know one another and learn from each other.

  • Network with the graduate students ~ our graduate students have plenty to share about their academic and clinical experience. Members include first year, second year, and part-time graduate students who can give you insight (that the professors can't).

  • Learn about the admissions process ~ many of us have gone through this process and have plenty of information and advice to share for those who are curious and/or just need a little encouragement!

  • Monthly meetings ~ Come hear our guest speakers from the "real world"! Many that have graced us include private practice professionals, to minister, writer, artist, Dyna-Vox (AAC) consultant Rick Hohn, to representatives from renowned companies such as oralingua (especially for you Audiologists out there).
So become a member today! Membership forms are located in the Clinician Prep Room along with additional surveys for you to voice your opinions. (Surveys can be dropped into Locker #23.)

Lastly, support NSSLHA by purchasing from the Student Store in the Clinician Prep Room. Payments are dropped in Locker #23 based on an honor system. ;)

Ideas for Philanthropy

We have funds to donate back to the community that we are dedicated to serve, but we would love to hear your suggestions as to which organization you think would benefit from our contribution. Suggestions can be dropped into Locker #23.

Our current proposal is to donate to the Bosnia Speech and Hearing Project, but we are still open to suggestions.
